Jayshree brings a rich and varied background with experience in national and international NGOs and governments in India and the U.S.
A passionate educator, she has worked in school development, environmental conservation, socio-emotional learning, and project management.
Her career began as a research assistant at the Wildlife Institute of India. She has worked with WWF-India and the New England Aquarium, Boston.
At the Akanksha Foundation, she held leadership roles for 12 years, including Senior Director of Schools. She currently leads the Multiply Initiative, partnering with government schools to scale best practices and improve learning outcomes. In this role, she engages in policy advocacy and collaborates with senior bureaucrats.
Jayshree is deeply committed to environmental causes and SEL. She holds a Master’s in Zoology from Pune University. She also trained in Non-profit Management & Leadership at Boston University.
Jayshree values lifelong learning and professional growth. She is also an Assessor with Adhyayan, supporting school transformation through quality assessments.
