With over twelve years in education—spanning classroom teaching, curriculum development, teacher training, school leadership, and systemic school reviews—I’ve worked across every tier of India’s school ecosystem: from affordable private institutions to high-income international schools, and from rural single-teacher settings to urban chains. As a teacher, trainer, and Adhyayan assessor, I’ve seen that meaningful change begins when we shift focus from ‘teaching to cover’ to ‘learning to discover.’
Now, I work as an independent consultant to bridge this gap by implementing practical structures where teachers foster curiosity and students lead their own exploration. My approach avoids rigid prescriptions. Instead, I aim for schools to define ‘what good looks like’ within their unique context—while holding firm to three essentials: student agency, teacher growth, and measurable outcomes—whether that’s higher engagement, better retention, or improved mastery scores.
