Sarita is a retired school teacher with 15 years of service under her belt. She worked in Shishuvan School, Bombay, one of the top schools in Mumbai, and donned multiple hats. She took on different roles, taught Marathi and Computers to Middle School, headed both these subject departments, and then subsequently worked as the Head of Department (Middle School) as well. She worked on enhancing the Middle School experience for students, on building language skills, on making interesting and engaging lesson plans, and on building skills and confidence regarding computer use. She was also in charge of building life skills for students that help them prepare for the real world. Lastly, she played the role of IT Head too, where she looked into the implementation of ERP Systems for the school, teacher training and parent training alongside working with service providers to customise various modules in the ERP system as per the school requirements.
Since 2013-2014, Sarita has been associated with Adhyayan as an Assessor and has visited various schools in different states. Now she works in individual capacity as Assessor, conducting school reviews in teams with the vision to build “A Good School for Every Child”.
